

Glenn G. Emslie, age 90, of West Lafayette, Ohio went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, at OSU Hospital East on July 10, 2012, while in the arms of his daughter. He was born May 23, 1922 in Coshocton to the late Charles and Fannie Emslie. On May 29, 1949 he married Edna Summers who preceded him in death. Glenn retired after 40yrs of service from Pretty Products. He was a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church. Glenn was actively involved in Veteran’s events as a member of the American Legion. He was a recipient of five bronze stars in World War II, also participating in the Battle of the Bulge and Normandy invasion. Glenn was a volunteer with Making Waves for Christ television broadcasting as a Senior Prayer Worker. He is survived by his daughter, Glenna Asadorian of Columbus, Ohio, where Glenn resided for the past seven months; son, Greg (Barb-wife) Emslie of West Lafayette, Ohio; brothers, Roy and Don; sister, Dolores; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Glenn is preceded in death by five siblings. Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson Funeral Home on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 10:30AM-11:30AM. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:30AM in the Chapel of Given-Dawson Funeral Home with Minister Bob Asadorian officiating.
