Marjorie Ricketts

Marjorie R. Ricketts, 100, of Coshocton died Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Windsowood Place of Coshocton. She was born November 7, 1917 in Coshocton to the late David Hayes and Daisy (Darr) Richcreek. On August 28, 1940, she married William H. Ricketts who passed away on May 31, 2000. Marjorie was a 1936 graduate of Coshocton High School and later retired from O’Neil’s after 35 years. She was a life member of Sigma Phi Gamma International Sorority and a charter member of Epsilon Chi Chapter.

She is survived by her nephew, Bill (Sharon) Dencer; niece, Donna Lambert and best friend, Ruth Schultz.

She is preceded in death by her siblings, Earl Richcreek, David Junior, Gerilda Dencer and Lola Kanuckle; nephew, David Dencer and niece Shirley Ferkel.

Calling hours will take place at the Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 12 to 1pm. A graveside service will follow at 1pm at South Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Joe Sanders officiating.
