Norma Jean Lorenz

Norma Jean Lorenz, age 85, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on October 19, 1927 in Coshocton County; the daughter of the late Roger and Edna (Smith) Brelsford. She graduated from Plainfield High School in 1945. Norma worked for over 35 years at the General Electric Central Parts Warehouse in New Concord, Ohio. She enjoyed sewing, arranging flowers for weddings, and helping her husband Ed with raising pollen shorthorn cattle, miniature donkeys, and horses. She is survived by sister-in-laws, Priscilla Lorenz and Kathleen Brelsford, along with several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her husband, John “Ed” Lorenz, who died July 23, 2009; a sister, Ermaline Calhoun; and two brothers, Howard Brelsford and Robert Brelsford.
