Patricia Gunther

Patricia Cole Gunther, 89, of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville, Ohio, on Friday, November 04, 2011. She was born in Hartford, Conn., on December 27, 1921, the daughter of the late James Landon and Gertrude (Bishop) Cole. Patricia was an employee of Chemical Bank in New York for many years. On November 13, 1950, she married Nicholas Andrew Gunther, who preceded her in death in 2010. Pat became a resident of Coshocton, Ohio in 1989, and was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church, an active member of the Pink Ladies Auxiliary at Coshocton Co. Memorial Hospital , the Junior Women’s Club, Sorosis Club, and was a volunteer at Roscoe Village, and Hospice of Coshocton. She is survived by her daughter, Madelyn (John) Edleman of Pittsburgh, Pa., her son, Patrick Nicholas Gunther of Coshocton, Ohio, and her three grandchildren, Nicholas, James, and Kaitlin Edleman. Per her wishes, a private family service will be held in Roscoe Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
