Patty Ann Meek

Patty was a Home Health Aid for many years. On September 21, 2002, she married Daniel Meek who preceded her in death on July 12, 2013.

Together, Patty and Dan enjoyed traveling and going to gospel retreats. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and friends and loved her dog, Chole.

She is survived by her seven loving children, Amy Byrd of Coshocton, Nicole (Jason) Schmidt of Ashtabula, Justin (Christy) Beckett of Abbeville, GA, Amanda (William) Carraway of Darlington, SC, Ashley (Richard) Schworm of West Lafayette, Sarah Layton of Coshocton, and James Beckett of Cambridge; step-daughter, Debbie (Lucy) Beckett of Bridgeport; 35 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; siblings, Bert (Angie) Bryant of Newcomerstown, Timmy (Debbie) Bryant of Newcomerstown, Bill (Kim) Bryant, of Port Washington, David (Shawn) Bryant of Newcomerstown, Leroy (Kathy) Bryant of Newcomerstown and Barbara Bryant of Newcomerstown; many nieces and nephews and two very special friends, Kim Sapp and Carol Huffman.

Along with her parents, Patty is preceded in death by her two husbands, Ernest Beckett and Daniel Meek, son, Joseph Beckett and sister, Julie Toman.

Per Patty’s wish, a cremation will take place with a Celebration of Life at a later date. Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home is serving the family.
