

Robert L. Vincent, age 98, of Naples, Florida, formally of Coshocton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. He was born on May 9, 1927, in Cambridge, Ohio, to the late Henry and Wilhelmina (Hossack) Vincent.
He graduated from Cambridge High School, class of 1946 and then went on to The Ohio State University graduating with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelors of Fine Arts. Robert was an English and Art Teacher for over 28 years at Coshocton High School, retiring in 1983. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Navy, serving during the Korean War.
Robert was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Coshocton, a 75 year member of the Masonic Lodge #93, a member of the Scottish Rite-Valley of Cambridge Lodge, member of the Aladdin Shrine in Columbus, Ohio, as well as a member of the American Legion Post #65 in Coshocton, the Ohio Education Association and two time past President of the Coshocton Education Association.
On July 14, 1973, he married Anne (Brown) Vincent who passed away on March 4, 1990. He is survived by his stepson, Matthew Duff of Edinburgh, Scotland, step-grandson, Anthony Duff, along with many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents and wife, Robert is preceded in death by his siblings, William, Alexander, Agnes, James, Thomas, Jemima, Anna, Elizabeth, Monroe and Wilhelminia.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, March 23, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home, 186 Park Ave., Coshocton, Ohio 43812. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home with Deacon Doug Mould officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery in Coshocton with the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard providing military services.
