Ronnie Allen Edwards

Ronnie “Ron” Allen Edwards, age 70 passed away on November 21, 2017 in his home at 4am. He was born on June 13, 1947 to the late Ben Orbin and Edith Irene (Kinkead) Edwards in Scott County, Virginia. On November 24, 1981 in Virginia Beach, VA he married Lizzie A. (Troyer) Edwards, who survives.

Ronnie served in the United States Navy from 1964 to 1970 and later worked as maintenance in manufacturing industries. He was a jack of all trades. He loved to travel to Gate City, Virginia to see his family and has traveled around the world six and a half times while serving his country in the Navy.

He is survived by his loving wife and two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Edwards of Fredericksburg, VA., and Rebecca Jane Edwards and fiancé Todd Roberts of Columbus, Ohio; sisters, Patsy Hensley of Gate City, VA., Kathy (Billy) Hensley of Blackmore, VA.; niece, Melissa (Dennis) Hensley of Gate City, VA.; sister-in-law, Katie A. Hill of West Lafayette, OH.

He is preceded in death by his brother-in-law’s, Allen Hensley and Chester Hill.

Calling hours will be held at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 2p.m. with Pastor White and Pastor Bounds officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
