On Saturday, February 9, 2019, Arlene Ellen Kaye, passed away at the age of 64. Arlene was born on April 24, 1954 in Providence, Rhode Island. She attended college at Rhode Island College and received her BA in Education. Always a giving heart, Arlene’s first job out of college was with the March of Dimes. From there she spent most of her career in shopping center marketing which took her to Las Vegas and eventually to Southern California. For diversity she became Marketing Director at the Southern California College of Optometry and worked there until she retired 5 years ago. Arlene was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2005 and never let the disease interrupt her passion for travel, helping others and her dedication to the MS Society to finding a cure. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents Nathan and Blanche Eisenstadt. She is survived by her devoted husband, Bob, stepson, Allan Kaye, granddaughters Mariya, Karissa, Daneka, great-granddaughter Gabriella, sister Donna Neufeld, niece Lisa Neufeld, nephew Marc Neufeld and hundreds of friends she made worldwide. Services will be held Friday, February 15, 10:00 a.m., Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Memorial Park, 1625 Gisler Ave., Costa Mesa, CA.
