Wonderful memories of your mom:  driving Hebrew School carpool in a '57 Chevy Impala wagon (met Hal in that wagon); teaching us how to make no bake chocolate/chinese noodle/peanut drop cookies; enjoying peppermint brownies (recipe from Hal's mom Dorothy); helping us sew clothes for our Barbie dolls; her smile; her easy going nature; her special friendship, love, care, and concern for others. I am so sad she passed, but honor her memory as my favorite Sunday School teacher, growing up.
She always smiled that special smile, and made everyone she knew feel special.
As neighbors, I loved to visit with her at her house.

My fondest memory of your mother was during Eli's bris. Allen was only 2 months old at the time and no one could hold him, without crying, except Carol and me. But your mother picked him up and calmed him down right away. She held on to him for over an hour stating that Carol needed a break, which she did. Dorothy was a grand lady.
