Grandma Jenny B was not my biological grandmother, however, she was more of a grandmother to me than my own blood. She was there since the day 1 was born until the day she's passed, always inspiring strong morals, whole health, and empathy. She helped my parents purchase our childhood home. Although she was Jewish, she never missed sending us kids Christmas gifts. The world will never be the same without Jennie but that's because she was only visiting from Heaven above in the first place. Jennie, Thank you for helping me become a better version of myself. 

Jenny with heartfelt memories miss you. This is your anniversary date 9-30 the day of sympathy we cherish the memories, neighbors n friends!!!

DavenJB were my Grandparents.  They “adopted” my Mom Jackie and Uncle Paul(twins) when my biological Grandparents, Harry and Josephine Entin passed away.  My brother Jason and I (Stephanie) then became extended family too.  Grandma and Grandpa always made me feel like I belonged and I was wanted.  They loved, supported, and cherished me and gave me endless life lessons that I will pass on to my children.  I was part of their family and they were part of mine.  Moreover, I was a part of their hearts-they let me know that constantly- and they were a part of mine. I grew up visiting their enchanted cottage with the huge backyard regularly.  I used to tell my friends in elementary school that my Grandma’s backyard was as big as a football field!   I remember playing in the tree house and jumping off the swing that was a fire hose with a seat cushion. Grandma was arguably the most influential person in my life. She was one of a kind and this world is not the same without her in it.  Since her passing, she has visited me many times in many ways. I feel her presence all around me. Every ladybug I see makes me think of her. She will live forever in the hearts of those who loved her.

I think of Jenny when I see ladybugs and two dollar bills. I think of Jenny when I eat nuts and berries and when I drive by or visit Westminster. I think of Jenny greatly.

I was Jenny and Dave's neighbor when I was a small boy. My parents and I lived in the apartment next door until I was four years old. I don't remember much from then, but I do remember Jenny and Dave would let me play in their huge backyard of green grass with the tree, or invite me in to enjoy some snacks of nuts and berries. I especially loved the unsalted sunflower seeds.

Jenny was warm, cheery, and kind. She dressed nicely and kept her white hair short and neat. She spoke steadily, with an accent that wasn't foreign, but also wasn't Californian, and she put her words together with care - both carefully and because she cared.

We moved away to a house in Artesia when I was four, but my mom would take us, me and my brother Richard, to visit Jenny and Dave. Jenny would talk to us, compliment us on how we'd grown, and inquire about our school and activities. Then she'd offer for us to go play outside while she and my mom would talk. Or she would join us outside to play - I vaguelly remember getting my first try at croquet out on the lawn.

Our visits were at least once a year for several years, then they became less frequent and I grew up and wasn't always interested in going. Even so, Jenny and Dave kept a steady presence in our lives, sending greetings cards with two dollar bills and friendly, hand-written notes in distinct cursive...
