I want to send my condolences for JoLynn.  I miss her and still think of her.  I hope Mary met her up in Heaven in 2023.   I remember  JoLynn  in Bluebirds.    Peace be with You, JoLynn!!

I went to pharmacy school with Jolynn. She was the smartest and kindest person I ever met. She once stayed up all night with me so I could pass a final when I’m pretty sure she never stayed up all night in her life before. I tried to call her a few months before she passed but didn’t make a connection. I am so sorry to her family at this sad time. She was an absolutely wonderful person!

Jolynn was a true blue friend. We enjoyed commiserating and gossiping. I loved working with her because she was an excellent pharmacist. For 30 years we always had fun when we worked.

I remember a funny story she told me about cat sitting. She was surprised at how messy this cat was. There was food all over the kitchen. She cleaned up and put out new food for the cat but she hadn't seen the messy cat so she sat in the living room waited.  In through the cat door comes a skunk and eats the food and walks around . Jolynn said she just frozen till the shunk left. 
I will miss her kindness and wit.

Dear Jolynn, 
It takes me that long to accept the fact that you are gone ….  I’m very lucky to know you since my internship at Huntington Beach Hospital and then working with you at Laguna Beach Pharmacy. Thank you for all the good time we worked together. You are so smart and always helpful.  You make people comfortable being around you with your charmed, kindness and humble.  You will be missed, my  dearest Jolynn. 

I was greatly saddened to hear of Jolynn’s passing. There was never a more gentle soul. 
Jolynn was my chemistry lab partner as freshman in college. She was an exceptional student. We actually had fun studying together! 
The world has lost a truly wonderful woman.

Jolynn was the kindest, most loving and most beautiful life partner for the past 25 years. We met working in a hospital and connected immediately over our childhoods in North Dakota and Minnesota. We shared social and spiritual values. Her warm smile, beautiful strawberry blonde hair and endearing personality soon captured my heart. Jolynn was exceptionally smart and a hard worker. She frequently worked late to help out staff doctors. 

She was a talented pharmacist, but she really could do it all. She took a mixology class for fun—memorized dozens of drinks—and was later offered a job at The Capital Grille and a private event concert with Tina Turner and Lionel Ritchie as a bartender. At Christmas many years ago Macy’s interviewed her and wanted her to be assistant store manager because of her strong math skills and business knowledge. She declined because she didn’t want to give up all of her time over the holidays. 

Jolynn made friends easily. She bought a small condo in Tustin and I bought a 2-bedroom next to hers. She sold it to buy a 2-bedroom in the same complex a few years later and we lived there together for 20 years. We decorated the home with items we found on our travels to Hawaii, Las Vegas and other destinations. We attended two weddings at Wailea Chapel in Maui, and Jolynn loved the chapel so much that we decided we would eventually marry there. Jolynn loved the beach, Hawaiian music, concerts, cruises and skiing. 

This summer we made plans to go to Maui in late October through early November to marry. Sadly, our dream did not come true due to her tragic untimely illness. We played together, prayed and went to church together and planned our lives together. My love for Jolynn will be forever and I hope we will meet in heaven.

What I would give to  meet

It was always a pleasure working with Jolynn. I will cherish the laughs, jokes, and yummy food we shared while working together.  And "thank you" so much for a few rides home after work .
A beautiful, sweet, and kind Jolynn.  You will forever be remembered in my heart. I miss you lots.

Jolynn and I were co-workers for 24 years. I’d always looked forward to working with her, listening to her vacation stories, sharing her restaurant experiences, and updates on her blooming succulent plants. We not only helped each other with the daily challenges of being a clinical pharmacist, but also shared jokes, made small talks, and commented on political views,  family stories and many other things. I miss her warm smile,  calm demeanor, as well as her soft heart and kindness. I miss you very much, Jo.

So thankful to have know Jolynn..always kind, smart, beautiful and willing to help. You are missed..prayers of comfort go out to your family and friends.

Jolynn was such a kind, sweet person.  Her loyalty and love for Steven was inspiring.  We were blessed to have her in our lives for thirty years.  There will always be a special place in my heart for Jolynn and the wonderful memories we shared.  Rest in peace dear Jolynn.  You will be missed.

Jolynn will truly be missed.  I’ve always considered her part of our family.  Jolynn and Steve were inseparable and they both attended numerous holidays and family weddings.  Heaven has a new angel.  God bless you Jolynn.  Stay strong Steve.
