I believe that  Mike was my student I the eighth grade at McDowell School in FV.

If so, he was hands-down the smartest kid I’ve ever  taught (retired after 40years) and I thought I was not really challenging him, His Lord of the Rings analysis was outstanding. One of his close friends (name escapes me) was an average student, but, regardless, he and Mike were pals.
