I have a number of favorite moments with Randy.  We would put on Julia Child Voices at Thanksgiving, while cooking in the kitchen.  Fun.  She had a good, dry sense of humor that I really appreciated.  May we all have blessed memories. 

My parents, Jane and Len Mulsman, were members of Temple Ner Tamid, in Peabody. They enjoyed having Rabbi Klatzker and Randy as part of their community. I also met Randy when she did some substitute teaching at Solomon Schechter in Newton. My most vivid memory is a cookbook of recipes Randy collected from TNT members, including my mother and mother-in-law, for Passover. A recipe for my mom's famous Passover puffs (rolls) is in it. I am grateful to have it in writing; I also liked knowing there were other female "Randys".  My family and I have been members of Temple Israel of Natick, MA for more than 30 years. I remember Randy as a lovely, dignified religious woman.  We taught together at Beth Shalom.  We made permanent seder plates with the children.  When Randy sent them out to be made permanent she ordered the wrong plates!  No matter, the kids had no idea these were pedestal cake plates!  I also remember Randy standing so solemnly in prayer during morning minyan.  My final memory is Randy being asked about Family Fare restaurant in Peabody, when she blurted out “you mean that “treif” place!  Yes, it was treif !  Randy was a very special Rebbetzin here at Temple Ner Tamid.  We will always remember her fondly.  May she Rest In Peace.
