Christopher Papiernik

Chris was born in Ottawa in 1959 and moved to Comox, BC in 1993 with his wife, and he lived there until his death.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Terry (nee Middleton), stepdaughter Erin Klis, his sister Barb (Dale)Greene, brother Richard Papiernik as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Chris is predeceased by his sister Shirley (John) Durand, and his parents Helen and Jozef Papiernik.

He will be missed by his extended family the Middleton’s, Jo-Anne I., the Mackenzie-Cooper’s, the Guertin’s and the Michaud’s.

May the memories of his family and friends be of his gentle spirit, his warm smile, his kind heart and his sense of humor.

We are grateful to all the compassionate and supportive care that he received from Dr. D. Lisoway, Dr. S. Schovinek and Peter M., Dr. S. Manktelow and Glenn.

And a special thanks to Sheri, Ronda and Lucia for your love and supportive care of our family on this final journey together.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Chris in the summer for family, friends and neighbours.
