

Don was a patient, selfless, and hard-working individual. He was a long-time resident of Courtenay, British Columbia, where he lived with his dear friend Marianne. Together for almost 20 years, they shared a life filled with love and companionship.
In his early years, Don was a member of the Reserves. He built a career as a GM Parts Man and later served as an Airport Commissioner in Vancouver. His dedication to his work was evident throughout his life.
Don was a father to his children, Robert and Steve McCall, and an honorary dad to Marianne's daughters, Melinda and Gloria. He was a grandfather to Ali (Nicolas), Cassandra, and Maya, and a great-grandfather to Kinley and Eloise. Don is predeceased by his parents and his son Robert.
Golf and snooker were Don's passions from a young age, and he excelled in both, winning numerous awards. His love for these sports was well-known among his many friends.
Don was actively involved in his community as a volunteer and Chairman of the Evergreen Club, particularly known for his contributions to the Snooker Games Room. He was affectionately referred to as the "Go To" Guy by those who knew him.
Donald William McCall will be fondly remembered by his family, friends, and community for his unwavering dedication and kind spirit.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service.
