A devoted wife and mother, her lifestyle kept her healthy in body and mind. She grew up in the Dunbar area of Vancouver with her parents and step-sisters. She was deeply loved and cherished by her father her whole life, whom she took in and cared for in his last years. A fond memory often shared is one of her collecting pennies as she sang for passing street cars. Elizabeth fully embraced her role as stay-at-home mom. She was a gentle and caring woman who loved deeply and saw only the best in all of her children. Her home was the go-to place for all, where friends felt safe and welcome, she enjoyed cooking for and connecting with all of her children’s friends. For 50 years she loved living in Campbell River and supported many organizations in town. She attended church and felt the love of God. Her family, daughter and sons, grandchildren and nieces, daughter in laws and friends said their goodbyes as she spent her final days at Comox Valley Senior Village, where she was a favorite among nurses and staff and received loving care.
Her hear is pure, and her hands are clean. Now the Angels hold her Soul.
