Dear Shirley, my heart is filled with sorrow over the passing of Gord. I will always have the awesome memories we had together in Mexico.  Gord was the planner, showing us some of his favorite places to visit and he was always greeted with a big hug and smile from the staff and I was in awe the way he could communicate in Spanish (like full on conversations).  Loved his sense of humor, gentle demeanor, big smile and the genuine love he showed towards you especially on the dance floor.  I will keep these memories close to heart and will keep you in our prayers.

Shirley and family.  Was so sorry to hear about Gord.  The office won't be the same at the Royal Decammeron.  Was looking forward to being able to visit again in Febrary.  Take, just letting you know we are thinking of you all.  Roxy&Wayne

How fortunate I was to work with such a wonderful man.  I was Gord's Administrative Assistant while he was the Manager of ATC in Kelowna.   Gord was one of the most hard working Managers that I had the privilege of assisting.  He was someone that I could trust and count on for leadership, honesty, integrity and many good stories and laughs.   He truly was a servant to his staff, the "go-to" guy, always having our best interests on his mind.  Because of this, he earned much respect from us all.   I will always remember his hard work in initiating the long process of upgrading my position and pension.  He said "you will remember me for this, one day, Denise"....well, Gord - every month when that deposit is made - I am grateful for your fortitude and foresight on my behalf!  Gord truly was a one of a kind boss and I will always count him as a dear friend and try to model his goodness.   Shirley - you were the light of his life - always admired and adored.   My thoughts and warmest blessings to you and your lovely family.  I will forever cherish my memories of this wonderful man.

Gord had the nicest smile and was always up for a laugh.  It was truly a privilege and a pleasure to have worked with him, but mostly it was nice to be his friend.  We shared the odd refreshment over the years and even though our work took us to different locations when we would meet again he made you feel like you had just seen him a month ago.  He will be missed.  Hugs to Shirley, Dale, Erin and family.
