Jamie Darrel Brown passed away suddenly on May 9th, 2024 at the age of 55. Jamie was born on August 5th, 1968 in Comox, BC to Carol L Frank of Comox and Harold Brown of Red Deer, Alberta. After his mother passed away in 1977, he and his siblings were put into foster care. When he was 12 Jamie and 2 of his brothers were taken in by his mothers' cousin Mary Everson and her husband Wayne Everson where they lived until they were old enough to move out on their own. He moved to Whitehorse with 2 of his brothers, lived and worked in Pelly Crossing, moved to Haida Gwaii and eventually moved back to Comox. He worked as a self taught Mechanic, Carpenter, Maintenance you name it, he was a Jack of All Trades.
Jamie was a kind and gentle soul, always smiling and making friends everywhere he went.
He will be remembered for his kind heart, good sense of humour and his gentle nature. With much love and great sadness, we say goodbye.

A visitation for Jamie will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at Piercy's Mt Washington FH, 440 England Ave, Courtenay, British Columbia.
