Jo-Anne Shields passed away on November 6th, 2025 at the age of 71 after a long brave fight with ovarian cancer. She is predeceased by her beloved parents Ellen and Harlyn Shields. She is survived by her son Tyson, daughter Carly(Adam) and her light, her granddaughter Miya. She is also survived by her siblings: Donna, Dennis, Barbara, Carol, Brian and Trevor. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and cherished friends. She loved her very large family very much and she was the best, most supportive mom to her kids. She will be missed deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Her family wanted to express their deepest gratitude to Jo-Anne’s family Doctor Lauren Baerg who has been so kind and supportive. Cancer did not define her life or who she was. Jo-Anne fought cancer with grace and strength and she won. She is free, fly high Jo.
