5 March , 19292 July , 2019

It is with great sadness we share the news of the passing of Joseph William Komadowski on July 2nd, 2019 at the age of 90 in Comox BC.

Dad was born March 5 1929 in Selkirk Manitoba where he was raised on the family farm. Dad worked many jobs, from up in Canada's North, to working underground in the potash mines in Saskatchewan, before settling in Winnipeg, retiring as a boiler maker at the CN Transcona railway yard. Mom and dad spent their retirement at their cabin in Ottermere, for which they took great pride, before moving to Comox in 2004 to be closer to their children and grandchildren.

Dad was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, June Komadowski, his grandchildren Paige and Nicholas, his parents Albert and Anna Komadowski, his brothers Micheal, Frank and Kasmir and sisters Sophie and Jean.

Dad is survived by his three sons, Richard, Randy and Joe (Corinne), his two granddaughters Rebecca and Sara, brother Johnny of Winnipeg, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held at a later date.

Hi Richard, Randy and Joey.
I have many memories of our youth, and several of your Dad and Mom. They were both kind to me when I visited and so I remember your home on Simpson fondly. I sometimes ride around the old neighbourhood and pass by the house as part of my memory lane tour. Not too weird but go ahead and laugh!
My thoughts are with you all at this time. I'm happy that old Joe lived to such a ripe old age and that your Mom and Dad were both near you in their later years.
Peace and Love,
Jim Scott
