Patti passed away peacefully after a short courageous battle with cancer. She is deeply missed by devoted husband, Randy; daughters, Karen (Mike) and Karla (Macadam); and grandchildren, Keenan, Jacob, Ryan, Carson, and Grayson; brothers, Dan (Rene) and Glenn (Gloria); brother-in-law Lou (Wilma); sisters-in-law Deb and Pam (Charles); and many nieces and nephews along with countless friends who were lucky enough to call her their own.
Born in Esquimalt, Patti brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She maintained her Esquimalt roots with annual reunions and social media connections. The life of the party; her unforgettable laugh and magnetic spirit lit up every room she entered. Patti had a rare gift for friendship, nurturing lifelong sincere connections, and her love a constant.
Patti found joy in many things. Planning and working in the gardens at home, she was an avid curler and in recent years few things brought her as much happiness as golfing with her girls at Glacier Greens. She called it her “happy place,” and spent many hours on the course, soaking in the sunshine and sharing laughs with friends.
Above all, Patti adored her family. She was their biggest cheerleader, proudly sharing stories of their accomplishments with anyone who would listen. Her love was fierce, unwavering, and deeply felt by all.
In keeping with Patti’s wishes, there will be no public service or memorial. Her family invites those who knew her to honor her memory in their own way—perhaps with a laugh shared among friends, a story told with love, or a quiet moment on the golf course. Her spirit lives on in every smile she inspired and every heart she touched.
