Dick also leaves behind his sister Audrey (Fred). Predeceased by his parents Horace & Olive Roscoe. Dick was a kind man, born and raised in Vancouver. He grew up on the waters of English Bay with a passion for sailing. He was a proud member of the Masonic Progress Lodge #85 for many years. Dick and Laurie retired to the Comox Valley in 2005. The waterfront was his favourite place and in retirement he opened a fish and chip trailer at Comox Marina Park. This gentle soul loved animals and was often found at Lewis Park in the morning with a bag of treats.

A Celebration of Life will be held in June, for information please contact a family member. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

I'm so sorry to hear about Dick's passing.

I used to meet Dick at Simm's Park almost daily for 8-9 years. Our dog Willy used to play with Molly all the time. Willy used to love the treats that Dick always brought with him to the park.

Dick will be greatly missed.
