Bob leaves his loving wife Jackie of 67 years, children Dirk (Jenny), Debra (Randy), Dawn (Dave), Dehran (Lisa), Drew (Erin), and Dianne.
Bob was predeceased by his son Devon in 1985, his sister Coralie, brother-in-law Sam and nephew Clifford Walker all of Thunder Bay, Ontario, brother in law Doug and sister in law Joan of Toronto, Ontario.
Survived by sister in law Shirley of Toronto, Ontario, brother in law Ross (Kay) of Waldon, Ontario.
Bob's flying career started at an early age. Following his private piolet license, he enlisted in the RCAF. Pilot training on Harvards at Currie Field Calgary and Renhold Alberta, Saskatoon on Mitchels and expeditors, night navigation trips in Winnigpeg and Gimli, Manitoba. Cold Lake, Alberta CF100's. Montreal (St. Hubert) on 423 AWFS. On to Gratenquin, France. A crop spraying company in the Peace country. The later part of Bob's flying career was Waterbombing, Gander Newfoundland, Con Air, and Airspray. It was a special time for Bob when flying Bomber4, having his son along side on Bomber3.
