Tyler (Roby) had a special connection with his grandmother.  He spoke of her often and stayed in touch via the telephone. Her last visit out west he was unable to see her and he spoke often of this and how much he wanted to see her.

Grandma Kay first met Tyler as a baby and loved Tyler as long as she was alive. She always spoke of the promise of his life and wanted the best for him, though they lived geographically far apart. She would share some experiences with him when he was able to visit. Once when she was in BC she visited with Tyler at his father's home.
