I worked with Ted in the Whitby Assessment Office for a number of years prior to his retirement His nickname of "coach"(Baker Park girls softball team) was appropriate since he was more of a coach to his staff than a Valuation Manager. I always had great admiration for his professionalism on the job. He showed his willingness to serve others by serving as President of the Institute of Municipal Assessors of Ontario

My wife and I would like to send our condolances to Mary and family
We were unable to attend visitation or the service since I was unable to leave the house before Friday due to retinal eye surgery

I sat with Ted on the Board of Community Care Durham. He was a wonderful mentor and community advocate. He had a great sense of humour and was truly a gentle soul.

Ted's smile and playful banter will be missed on the golf course and at church. His golf score should be more realistic now with all the angles watching.

My condolences to Ted's family for their loss of this wise and dedicated man.

I sat with Ted on the board of Community Care Durham. Ted had the gift of humour and was superb at thinking through challenging issues. He was a gentleman and it was a pleasure to serve on the Board with him.
