July 31, 1952 – October 26, 2026
It is with profound sadness and immeasurable love that we announce the passing of Elizabeth Louise (George) Wyatt on October 26, 2026, at the age of 74.
Elizabeth is lovingly reunited in heaven with her beloved partner, John Town, with whom she shared a deeply cherished love.
Beautiful inside and out, Elizabeth possessed a rare and gentle spirit that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. With her radiant smile, soft, sweet voice, and wonderful sense of humour, she brought warmth and joy wherever she went.
Generous, compassionate, and wonderfully open-minded, Elizabeth saw the best in everyone, offering understanding instead of judgment and always finding ways to lift others up. She gave freely of herself, placing the happiness and well-being of others before her own, never expecting anything in return. Her kindness was effortless, and her love unconditional.
Above all, Elizabeth cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughters, Theresa Wyatt and Robin Antonelli, and adored her son-in-law, Adriano Antonelli. Her five grandchildren, Jaxon, Amelia, Luca, Chloey, and Collin, were a source of immeasurable joy. Nothing made her happier than being surrounded by those she loved, whom she delighted in spoiling with affection and generosity.
Elizabeth is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Marlene and Terry, her brother-in-law Iain, and the extended Wyatt and Town families. She shared a special bond with Margaret Town, whom she considered a sister, and was blessed with extraordinary friendships, surrounding herself with strong, wonderful friends whom she treasured as family.
Small in stature but extraordinary in strength, Elizabeth faced life's challenges with quiet courage and remarkable resilience. She was living proof that the gentlest souls can possess the fiercest determination. Through it all, she never lost her warmth, humour, or beautiful capacity for love.
Her legacy lives on in the kindness she inspired, the laughter she shared, and the countless lives made brighter simply because she was part of them. Her beautiful smile, gentle voice, and generous heart will be remembered always.
“Dust thou art, to dust returnest,
Was not spoken of the soul.”
— Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
