WHEAT, Herbert Martin (veteran WW II, Radio Technician with the RAF) – peacefully at his home in Courtice on Friday July 20, 2012 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Geraldine. Loving father of John Martin Wheat and Beverley Grondin. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Danielle and her husband Jamie Scott, Shawn and his wife Jen, and great-granddaughter Savannah. Predeceased by his brother Sidney Wheat. A Celebration of Martin’s life will be held at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice on Saturday July 28th at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
