Howard Wesley Harrington

Howard Wesley Harrington passed away quietly on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa after a day of laughter and story- telling with friends and family. Devoted husband to the late Patricia Ann; equally devoted father to Angela (Lazaro) and Sheldon (Virginia); very proud Poppy to grandchildren Nicole, Emma, Kevin and Gretchen. Dear brother to Carl and Marion. Howard was a proud retiree of General Motors of Canada with over 30 years of service. He had an incredible love and commitment to his family and was seen as an honorable man to all that knew him. In support of Howard’s wishes a cremation has taken place. The Harrington family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the staff of both Lakeridge Health Bowmanville and Lakeridge Health Oshawa for their compassion and care. Special thanks, filled with gratitude to long time family friends Cathy and Dale MacMillan for their daily visits to dad. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday August 5th, 2018 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at the Tyrone Community Center, 2716 Concession Rd. 7, Bowmanville, Ontario.
