Janice Leigh Goodman

December 18, 1952 – October 5, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Janice Leigh Goodman.

Jan was the loving wife of her true love, John, and devoted mother to Ryan Sawatzky (Marie) and Kyle Sawatzky (Anne). She was a proud and loving Nanny to Ethan and Myla, who brought so much joy and happiness to her life.

She was a dear sister to Noel, Heather, Eric (Dianne), Mark (Debbie), and Jacqueline (Phil), a special part of a large family.

Jan was predeceased by her parents, John and Irene, and her sister-in-law, Ann.

Jan left a lasting impression on everyone she met and will be deeply missed by her extended family, nieces, nephews, friends, and her sweet pup, Sophie.

Family was everything to Jan. She treasured every moment spent together and found her greatest happiness in the people she loved. Her greatest pride in life was her sons, whom she loved more than life itself. She cherished watching baseball and football with them and creating the memories that she held so close to her heart.

She was a strong woman who moved through the world with gentle grace, an infectious sense of humour, and an unwavering belief in the people around her. She lived fully, loved generously, and left the world far brighter than she found it.

Jan is now at peace and has had the long-awaited reunion with her mother, whom she longed for so deeply. We find comfort knowing that they are together again.

Forever loved, forever missed, and always in our hearts.
