Pauline, Daniel and John I was very shocked to read about Joyce I send my deepest sympathy I have for years have tried to find her on and off on face book  but was unsuccessful I am siting here  in shock as you see her and I  have been best friends from grade six on shared an apartment after we finished school  the last I seen her was at your home in Whitby  I read one day about your grandmother and after that again tried to see if I could find and  locate your mom and her sister Barb I would check in Whitby once in a while  . I am not sure if you remember me Pauline your brother I really never got to know if I had of known I would have tried to attend her service .Please give my condolences to your aunt Marianne , Barbara and Uncle Micheal for me please I am sure they may remember me well Barb will anyway .All the best to your family sorry John I only got to meet you once.

I tried to see Joyce as soon as I arrived in Toronto however I can understand that it was not to be since she was unwell.

It is very difficult trying to find the right words to express the sorrow we have felt with our dear Joyce leaving us. But we must remember that she is now in a better place and in the divine loving hands of God. We really got to know Joyce when Dan and Andrea brought Miley and Emily into this world. Joyce loved the children so much especially Miley who was born much earlier than Emily and had a better chance to get to know each other and create a stronger bond. We got to know John and Joyce so well that we felt they would be our best friends for ever. Joyce we are going to miss you a lot. We do not know why God wants beautiful young ladies like you to go to heaven so soon but he must have a reason for it.

We will always miss you and you will forever stay in our thoughts and prayers. We are blessed to have had you in all of our lives and we are very thankful for the time and great memories we have shared together in recent years.

John, Pauline and Danny....
We are so sorry to hear of Joyce's passing. Thoughts of you have been uppermost in our minds and we wish we could be there to hug you tight to our hearts. John, for my part (Moe), the first time I ever met Joyce was when we were out there to visit a few years ago with Paul and Glennis and we spent some time with both of you. She was such a sweet person and I know she was very fun loving and totally enjoyed life. You two were so together. I have never met Danny or Pauline but I know their hearts are breaking and we do feel their pain. Time will heal all. Hoping that the knowledge that friends and family are there for you, be it in body or thoughts, will help the grieving process go by a little easier. I will take care of your big boy and your grand-daughters, as I promised to you, in the best way that I can. I was so sorry to read of Joyce's passing. We worked together at Telcom for many years. She was always cheerful and helpful to me and my other staff. When I lived in the west end I often saw her at Sherway Gardens and she had the same smile as we chatted about former colleagues.

It's hard to know what to say at a time like this.  My thoughts are with you , and Danny and Pauline,  and  Joyce's family at this time . I'm  sure Joyce has left you some wonderful  memories that will live with you forever.

It's hard to find the right words to give you comfort during this painful time.  All I can say is that you're in my thoughts.  Aunt Joyce was a wonderful woman.  

I have found my mind wandering over the past few days to memories of our time living with you in Whitby, when we first moved to Ontario.  I was only seven at the time and it was a big and scary change, made a little less scary living with all of you. Aunt Joyce was so loving and always made me feel at home while we lived there.  I have so many great memories.

I am so sorry that I'm unable to attend the funeral but my heart will be there.
