I worked with Norma for 29 years. She was a very loving person. Always there when you had an issue. She is sadly missed.

I was shocked to hear of Norma's passing. She was a wonderful person. She was there for me when I needed help. She also had a great laugh.

My memories of Norma.... wow there are many... waiting with bated breath for the Bates mobile to pull into the part after work on a Friday....."theres Norma Bates " we would say.. as the boys would all head over to help her unload..... or the Jello shots... the dancing... swimming for hours on our tubes.... the time the power went out at 3am and Mike , Norma and I sat outside til it came back on an hour later..... and oh yes the day i dyed my hair I made her take me to colburg to get my hair dyed.... good Lord.... and we liked to go to primitive design that was the best introduction to the coolest place ever..... thanks Norma... sitting on your deck after supper and just shooting the poop with you was so much fun.... she loved to tell stories of Kenny and I would laugh.... she had many wonderful tales of the lake and everyone.... I never really heard her say anything bad about anyone she was a gracious host... always... she was a refreshing good morning tea visit....she was Norma... a wonderful mother.... a beautiful grandmother....and a true and genuine friend . a person that is really gonna be missed by all who knew her.... love ya Norma....we will miss you from mike and leslie

I met Norma at the Scarborough Purolator depot. A wonderful lady to all. She followed me to the Pickering depot. Lol I thank her for inviting me up to the trailer to meet her friends there and party with all. You were taken away way too young. Will miss you. Rest In Peace and visit my dreams sometime. Love to you and we will eventually meet up again and party with all those Purolator people.
