This expression of my love is coming late. It is because I was rendered unable to speak- or think! When I was a small child I looked and looked and waited for my father to come home. Then, Aunt Mary and Uncle Percy would come for a visit and he would pick both my sister and I up and hold us. He was God's gift to my sister and I. Many years later at their 50th Anniversary party I asked him if I could dance with him. He teased me saying no. Just before we danced someone told me to hold on! Good thing I listened! As I sit here finally letting go of all these tears I know that he is learning all the beautiful wonders of God's love in the universe. He probably danced with grandma to the songs so beautifully sung at his celebration of life. Bet he knocked her halo off! I'm living testimony that he will watch over his family, his beautiful bride, his children and all those who loved him. (Don't think he can keep us out of trouble though!) He was and always will be a gift from the Lord. All my love. Susan

I will always remember Grandpa's strong hugs and his strong handshake!! A good firm handshake, say's alot about someone's heart and the person they are. As soon as you shake my Grandpa's hand to say hello, you felt it!! Or in my case, it was always hugs of course!! Big strong hugs that just felt soooooo good.

Many fond memories of him in my heart however the one that always makes me laugh is being up in Mattawa ata family reunion and Percy was napping in the bus. Tyle and Dan were asked to wake him and just about got their lights knocked out. Lesson learned you don’t go waking him up by shaking him as he’ll wake up swinging. May you Rest In Peace now 💕

I remember Dad teaching me how to dance as a very little girl by letting me stand on his feet. He danced with me all of my life....we'll dance again some day.
