Raymond Kahler

KAHLER, Raymond James – Passed peacefully at home January 5, 2015 after a courageous battle with Cancer, surrounded by his loving Family. Loved husband of Georgina “Jo” for 68 years. Cherished father of Sandra (Ron), Lorne (Theona), Glenn (Susan) and predeceased by Donna (Steve). Predeceased by his 5 sisters. Fondly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Ray owned and operated a Texaco Station on the Danforth for 30 years, then formed Ray & Sons Automotive with his sons, and is still in operation today. Ray was also an avid Baseball and hockey fan.

Resting at Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, ON (905-432-8484), with service in the Chapel Friday January 9, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday January 9, 2015.
