Dear Deanna and Family, Sorry this is a little late, but only just caught Gordon’s passing, as I do not read the local paper.
My sincere sympathy and condolences to you all. I admired his determination and will in our bowling league. Always good humoured and a smile for the team. He was a true player in life, and will be deeply missed.
Thinking of you, Norma Hirst

We are very sorry to learn of Gord's passing. We knew him when we all lived on Labrador Drive and then sometimes chatted with him later in life while he was volunteering at Lakeridge Oshawa. He was a friendly fellow and a very nice man. Our condolences during this hard time. HUGS!!

Hello! I am so sorry for your loss. I saw this obituary in the paper but the funeral had already passed. I had the pleasure of seeing Gord at the coffee kiosk at the hospital. He was such a treasure of a person and I'm sure that I am not the only one that missed him when he stopped coming. I hope that your family is coping ok. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Deanna and Family:

So sorry to hear of the loss of Gord. I met Gord many years ago when we worked together and remember his pleasant and friendly manner. Gord always had a joke or a smile to share with everyone. Then we met up again as neighbours in the Mackenzie Park area where he helped out Bob and all the other Dads as well.
Gord will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
Our Sincere Condolences to the family.

Aunt Deanna, Marj and Doug
We are so sad to hear that Uncle Gordie has left us. He was the energetic, fun loving family member who always had a quote that would make you smile or laugh. I will miss hearing 'Hi, Jan When did you get here.' or '... days till Christmas', no matter what time of year he always had the exact number. It was a pleasure to call him my Uncle.
You will be in our thoughts and prayers; cherish the memories that you have.
Love,
Jan and Scott
