From day one I knew I had a great friend in you. You always had my back, helped me with anything I asked and kept me calm in high stress situations. To My Best Friend, I enjoy the rides to Nova Scotia to go visit family, friends and the Ocean Scenery. We have excellent times together on motorcycle trips. The Newfoundland trip was nice but short time frame a lot of saddle, boat trip on the ferry. Never got a chance to see a Moose. We could have not see each other  for a month, when we connected together, it was like there was no time lost. Miss you my friend and miss riding together.                  Dawson Marks

I’ve been apart of your family for almost 10 years since I was just a 19 year old kid. You welcomed me with an open heart and excepted  just as I was and for that I could never thank you enough you were always someone I can turn to with anything and not have to worry about you judging me or talking my business to anyone. You were the most solid person I’ve ever known and I want to thank you for all of the wonderful memories and conversations. You were truly one in a billion and I have no idea how we are all supposed to go on without you here with us but I know in my heart your soul is still here with your son and I. I promise you I will look after him and have his back through everything that this life will throw at us. I will love and miss you forever Ronnie

Well Ron I'm sorry I never got the chance to know you your second half of life but it was nice knowing you for the first half.I am glad to see you remained the same person you were always there to help.Every time I see a dodge charger I think of you,we had some good memories. I remember first trying out for my job over 5 years ago. However, it wasn’t the regular cleaning job I was expecting to do... no, I was asked to accompany Ron to a carpet cleaning job with all the machinery. Accepting the request, I got to meet him and we went to the job over an hour car ride away. Immediately he was so welcoming and friendly, gave me all the advice I could need and tried to catch me up to speed on the company. He was such a happy and free soul. We blasted music, sang, joked and had so many laughs at me attempting to use the machines. 5 years later and he still always put a smile on my face with the same goofy presence any time I had the pleasure of seeing him. He always made sure we knew we had his back if we needed him for anything. Gone way to soon, but I know the party is never ending up there for you. Ride on buddy. 

I met Ron Many years ago .He was with Beverley and she was  running. Maid Mart and Ron was always there when he was needed.I was her bookkeeper and when Ron knew I was in the office he would always greet me with his enduring smile and a coffee & donut for me. We kept in touch over the years .He came up for my husbands funeral as they got along like 2 peas in a pod seeing they were both from down East I did his taxes for years .He just recently helped me & my daughter put in new counter top and sink.When I offered to pay him he wouldn't hear of it .Said he loved me like a MOM . Great guy .He will always hold a very special place in my heart and he will be missed.I am still in shock of his passing .Only the good die young .

Ron will forever be a best friend. I can truely say he was one of the most wonderful men I have ever known. He was always there for me and anyone that ever needed a hand. A kind an gentle soul that put others first, always. He will be forever missed and never forgotten. My sincerest condolences go out to all the hearts he touched. I know how hard this is going to be, and I cant begin to understand the pain you all must be feeling. I myself am flabbergasted and cant believe such a wonderful person has been taken away.


When Linda first introduced Ron to us ,we just loved him.He was such a warm happy ,caring person......and they were perfect together.Ron rarely drank ,but he loved a good cup of tea with honey.....he was a self professed “tea granny “......I loved his soft warm down east accent ,and being Irish myself we tossed around similar kitchen expressions and had a good laugh.I will miss him dearly as will my husband Gary.......we did not get nearly enough time together as friends before he left this world .........My deepest condolences to his family and all those who knew and loved him and to my dearest friend Linda.And until we meet again May God hold you in the palm of his hands

Ron,  I was not prepared to hear about your sudden passing. You will be missed but never forgotten. I've never met anyone quite like you. You are so very special. Your infectious personality and warm heart, is what will be etched in my memory forever.  May the tears of grief for your family and friends you have left behind, turn into tears of fond memories of you.

Because of you I have a great life now. You were the stepping stones to my success . Years ago you helped me out and gave me an opportunity to work and live with you and your family in Mississauga. You treated me like a son . You taught me  how to drive a truck and I worked alongside you for many years at City Wide. Those were great days.  And I will never forget this. I don't know where I would  be now without you man . I'm absolutely crushed about the news.

My condolences to Ron's family. I met Ron through my brother about 10 years ago and we all shared the love of motorcycles.
Riding along side and hanging out with Ron was always a great time, somehow getting caught in the rain along side a friend like Ron made it fun. Ron will be dearly missed, 


So many wonderful memories of Ron. Ron had a real zest for life and a heart of gold. 
Nothing Ron liked more than to be ‘free’ on his motorcycle with his crazy helmet on. 
Ron had a way of making everyone feel like the most special person in the room and always there with one of his big bear hugs.
Ron was a great father to Krystal and R.J. He was a most special Uncle to his La La.
Still so hard to believe he is gone.
Ron was one of the special ones and will be missed so many.
Rest easy dear Ron. Tim and I will miss you so much 

To My Best Friend Ron, I will miss you dearly. We have put a lot of miles on the motorcycles over the decades. My Nova Scotia friend , we have visit our families there shared laughter and joy. We watched sunrises, sunsets, shared freedom of riding and all the beautiful countryside. We are brothers and most thought we were. I will miss your company, smile and our love for each other.

Little crispy snow fakes falling on my face…
I feel your breath in the wind whisk by.
The wind forces my face to crispy snow tracks. 
Tracks so fresh from yesterday’s visit.

The gates of heaven have opened.
You’ve been called to see your maker.
The snow will melt, the tracks will fade.
I’m left with your breath and little snowflakes.

I look out the window and await your arrival.
To no avail you’re really gone. (heartbreaking)
A horn “beeps” …a white car drove by!
I jump to see… is it you?  Or, is it just crispy snowflakes.

The hands on the clock say go to bed.
My hands say no, go outside and feel the crispy tracks.
I touch the snow, feel the last memory.
The only thing left… is crispy little snowflakes.


Well in the presents with Ron and his cherished beloved Earth Angel, Linda, you couldn't help but fall in love with the two of them as a couple. I met him through my friend Candice Baker Declute many years ago.  When you would see Ron he would engulf you in a huge teddy bear hug, so gentle, so loving and so kind. My heart broke for Linda when I heard the news of Ron's passing. I have never met a couple more respectful and more loving towards each other. My prayers go out to you Linda.

My heart is so deeply saddened to learn of the untimely passing of our very good friend Ron. We have been friends with Ron for over 20 years and he’s never changed. He was such a kind, caring and generous soul. Ron would give the shirt off his back to a stranger. He always had a positive attitude and so easy to be around. I will cherish the many fun times we had together. My condolences to everyone that loved him. He will be greatly missed.

I had the greatest pleasure to have met Ron and have him join our  family one Christmas. He fit in like family from the minute he walked through our door.  He was as they say,  a gentle giant and one was instantly drawn to him for his sweet nature and humble heart. He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him 💔

Thank you Ron for your kindness.  You loved my sister ferociously and welcomed her family into your arms without hesitation with all of our imperfections. I will forever cherish our long deep conversations and shared understanding of the world around us.  It was time to go home. You will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Ron’s family and friends and to my sister Linda, who’s heart broke in half.
