Remembering Ron is both happiness and sadness. I was just saying how he had a solution to everything, if it wasn't immediate then he researched until he found  that answer!
Ron was a joy to be around!
We all still miss him but know some day we will see him and rejoice ❤️.

Deepest condolences to all of Ron’s family.

We were only blessed to know Ron for a couple of years, but in even in our short acquaintance we knew him to be a kind & gentle man—gracious & patient. He was so talented in so many ways & had a terrific sense of humour. He will be missed by all and deeply missed by those who knew him well. 

Grateful to know that he is with Jesus & free from discomfort and pain.

I was so saddened to hear of Ron’s passing. My condolences go to all the family and friends at this time of grief.

I met Ron (Scooby) back in 1982 when we joined Ontario Hydro and were in the same class, and subsequently sent to Deep River for training.

We worked on the same crew (B) for a few years at Pickering, but unfortunately lost touch after his accident in the 90’s and he changed his career paths to IT. Very optimistic character, a good man, and will be forever missed.

I will not be able to be at the service because of covid 19, but my thoughts and prayers will be.

Ron was one of the kindest and best man I know, and I did not get to share nearly enough time in his company.   My most special memories with him involve driving in the Corvette and flying rc an plane.

To his family, and especially to Robin, I hope the memories of all that Ron was and all the good that he left on this earth are forever carried with you and give you strength every time you think of him.

Our deepest sympathies over the loss of a beloved brother, son, and father.  We didn't know Ron personally, but we were very moved by his conversion story, which Pam shared with us. Amazing life.

It was a pleasure to work with Ron.  He had the brightest, most joyful spirit and always made my day with his cheerful and optimistic outlook on life.  My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Ron is one of my favorite cousins. He always had an amazing, huge heart, even as a kid. When the other boys didn't want a girl hanging around, Ron did. He would be the one to draw in those on the outside. He loved everyone.  
As a teen he was very gifted in the drawing department especially if it was an autograph book(old people know what this is), he always had to be special and fill the whole page, literally every inch!
I will forever remember the humor, gentleness, kindness and long suffering of this my "specialest" cousin. Even when he was in so much pain and had received the news of cancer, he chuckled as he told me. 
Ron was a man who would literally give his life for his kids. For his wife. For his family. For his friends.
Over the years we have shared letters, crazy texts and heartfelt tears over struggles and loss. Ron was a man who lived his life with the love and compassion he learned through his Savior, Jesus Christ.
The pain in all of this loss is overwhelming and I pray for all of you daily. It breaks my heart and tears are never far away when I think of Ron. The tears for those of us left behind because Ron is definitely not crying anymore. I picture him with my brother, Tim, being mischievous and smiling ear to ear like they did when they were kids.
When Ron passed away I could almost hear God saying "well done my good and faithful servant"...because that's exactly who he was.
May God bless you all and keep you through this part of the journey.

My cousin Ron had the kindest heart and the wackiest sense of humour! I am so glad to have had him as a part of my life growing up. My condolences to all of the family.

To Violet Moore, Ron's children and all the family members, I was surprised and shocked to hear of Ron's death. I remember Ron as a very intelligent person with a great sense of humor. Although we were not on the same crew at OPG, I knew him quite well .  I am not able to make it for the visitation but please accept my condolences and hope you will find the strength to continue your lives  in his absence. Peace and all the best be with you all.

Ron was the most cheerful optimistic person that I’ve ever met. His expression “Best Day Yet” will live on.
