I first met him at Chapman's,  when I was very young, where my father was Walter's customer.   I returned there as an adult for his expert mechanical service.  May God grant peace to your family at this difficult time.

My condolences to the family. Walter was a great man and taught me so much over the years. I considered him a mentor and often reminisce of the times and laughs we had. A true gentleman and great teacher.

So sorry for your loss. I remember fondly your parents inviting into their home. I remember how friendly and helpful your father was. (I had car troubles while there.) To this day, I follow the advice he gave me (and think of him each time) regarding the watching of the power lines for on-coming car lights.This advice helped me get out of your driveway that night and has been of assistance many times since.I remember his sincere friendliness.
