

Delores M. Teske, age 86, passed away on March 19, 2013 in Covina, California. She was born on April 23, 1926 in Aitkin, Minnesota. She was a wife, mother and homemaker and lived in the San Gabriel Valley area for 40 years. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary for 25 years, Immanuel First Lutheran Church Womens Missionary League for 20 years, Lutheran Braille Workers for 20 years and Petal Pushers Organization, building the Lutheran Hour Float for the Tournament of Roses Parade for 10 years. She is survived by her daughter Rebecca Lee Bright, son Jay Paul Teske, grandsons Erik and Aaron Bright, great-grandchildren Kayla Marie, Amanda Rose, Austin James and Alec John Jaxen Bright due May 2013. Delores will be laid to rest at Riverside National Cemetery with her husband Herbert W. Teske in Riverside, California.
Delores loved to be outdoors. She was an avid gardener starting trees from seeds. Now they tower over her house giving back both fruit and shade. She loved her morning crossword puzzle, crocheting, turning jig saw puzzles into beautifully framed pictures. Her occasional slot machine therapy and her friends and family.
