Carol Ann (Theriot) Raley, age 73, of Covington, LA passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024. She was born on October 2, 1950 in New Orleans, LA to Rosalie Elizabeth (Fetzer-Wright) Theriot and Myer “Mike” Joseph Theriot, Sr.
Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, Carroll “Gene” Eugene Raley; her children Jamie Raley Gabourel (Daniel) and Matthew Rhett Raley (Melissa); and five grandchildren: Austin Michael Raley, Gavin Avery May, Kelsie Grace Raley, Jace Roman May and Kelsey Alexis Gabourel. She is also survived by her brother Robert Murrel Theriot.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Myer “Skippy” Joseph Theriot, Jr. and David Michael Theriot and her grandson Brandon Tyler Raley.
Carol devoted her life to serving her family and working with her husband and son in their family owned Construction Company. Her faith and Christ-Like love of others was truly a blessing to all that knew her and served as a shining example to her children and grandchildren. Above all, Carol cherished the time that she spent with her family, but especially her grandchildren. She was truly the heart and soul of her family and she will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. with visitation beginning at 11:00 A.M.
