

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Emile Joseph Fallo, her son, Steven Harry Hart (Cindy) and her two grandsons, Austin Taylor Hart and Cooper Stevens Hart. She is preceded in death by her father, Irwin Leon Bourgeois, mother, Doris Taylor Bourgeois, brother Eugene Frank Frischhertz and her first husband Harry Stevens Hart (Steven's Father).
Dottie was born in New Orleans, LA and has resided in Mandeville, LA for the last 20 years.
Dottie is remembered fondly as Granny Dottie, GDot & Mama Dottie. She enjoyed being with her family and friends, playing bingo and drinking her Starbucks coffee at the Mandeville Lakefront on a regular basis.
Dottie was a longtime legal secretary then became a paralegal at Sessions Fishman Law Firm in New Orleans, LA. After retirement from the legal profession, she taught at the First Baptist Church of Mandeville as a teacher and child care worker. She was then a substitute teacher in the St. Tammany Parish School system for several years. She served her faith as a greeter at Church of the King in Mandeville.
A celebration of life memorial visitation for Dottie will be held at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive in Mandeville, LA on Thursday, March 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM followed with a Christian service at 12:00 PM. There will be a celebration of life reception following the service and all family and friends are invited to attend.
Interment in Southeast LA Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA will be held during a private ceremony at a later date.
