Edna Graham Harmon

Edna Mae Rogers Graham Harmon, age 83, of Lacombe, LA was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was born to Losa and Edna Rogers on May 1, 1938 in Sun, LA and she left this world on Saturday, September 4, 2021.

Edna is survived by her husband, John Harmon; her daughter Sharon Graham Bangs and her granddaughter Brandy Bangs Bankston (Marc). She is also survived by her great-granddaughter Brynn Marie Bankston and her sister Rosie Rogers Slade.

Edna is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Edward Graham, Sr, her sons Charles “Eddie” Graham, Jr. and Joseph Anthony Graham and her brother Laverne Rogers.

Edna was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. She devoted her life to her family to ensure their happiness and well-being. Her light could energize any room as she was an inspiration to all that knew her. She loved music, dancing, cooking, gardening and to throw family parties. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Edna. She will be forever missed and never forgotten.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Grace Funeral Home, 450 Holy Trinity Drive, Covington, LA 70433 on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services at Crawford Cemetery in Bush, LA.
