Jack was the beloved husband of Judy Lewis for forty years. He was the loving father of Norma Nunez (Bruce), Pamela Bascle, Tammy Wood, Sean Lewis, Scott Lewis, Joshua Lewis (Nancey), Dwight Sons, the late Jack Lewis, Jr., and Steven Lewis. Proud Paw-Paw of thirteen grandchildren. Brother of Don E. Lewis (Phebe) and the late Judy Bordelon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly.
Jack proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy for several years. After his time in the service, he dedicated over eighteen years as a Louisiana State Trooper. He was a member of the VFW 8720 and American Legion Post 16, as well as President of the MPOA. Jack enjoyed collecting model cars.
A Celebration of Life for Jack will be held at the VFW at a later date.
