Lifetime Hayden resident, James "Jim" Edward Brazelton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. He was 85. A viewing for family and close friends will be held from Noon to 2:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 8, 2026, at Grant Mortuary. A celebration of Jim's life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Mission of Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Zirkle officiating. Inurnment will follow at Hayden Cemetery with military honors presented by the VFW. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim's memory to the Hayden VFW or to Northwest Colorado Health & Hospice both in care of Grant Mortuary, 621 Yampa Avenue, Craig, CO 81625.
