Rebecca Sue Halterman (Becky) was born August 10,1949 in Des Moines, Iowa to Donald Ray and Juanita Esther Halterman. She was the second child born into the family, joining sister Christine, and would be followed by another sister Donna and brother Gary. The family moved to Denver, CO where Rebecca graduated from Lincoln High School. Becky then met and married the father of her children, Cyril Lenahan III and after starting a family in Denver and Greeley, CO, moved to Hayden, CO in 1973 to raise their children. She cherished her time in Hayden and the friends she made there.
After their divorce, Becky moved to Fort Collins, then Greeley, CO, where she met Michael Wallace and found they both enjoyed country dancing, fishing, camping and spending time outdoors. Becky married Michael Ray Wallace in 1994 at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison, and shortly thereafter moved to Clifton, CO where they lived for the last 30 years of her life. They spent many weekends camping and fishing on the Grand Mesa. Becky cherished her time with her children and grandchildren, camping, fishing and riding UTVs. In the later years, she sometimes spent hours facetiming with her son Andrew and littlest grandson Andrew Jr.
Becky courageously battled breast cancer for more than 11 years before it eventually won the war. She was surrounded by family members when she passed in the early morning hours of September 7, 2025, in Grand Junction, CO.
