Dar was one of the nicest guys I've ever met. Always willing to help and a no BS person. He had a lot of talent and has passed far too early. Our condolences to all his family and friends. He will be sorely missed. He's off to a better place. We had planeed to attend the celebration in Craig but it didn't work out for us.

I only knew Darwin and Dale for a short time during high school. Didn't know that he later rodeoed and played guitar. My family had a ranch in Maybell and I rode the school bus into Craig with them. He always treated me well and I respected him and his family.
Sorry for your loss,  Haskins. Darwin was the real deal.

Dar is on the right. Grandma and Grandpa's (Ray and Sally) 40th Anniversary celebration at the pavilion, Moffat County Fairgrounds. He played Grandma and Grandpa a song that night that he wrote for their anniversary.

Sorry to hear, our families  were neighbors, Dar. sang at my brothers  funeral, and every  once in awhile I would  run into him when I would  go visit  my mom. Thoughts and prayers to Dars family.  Verna  (Scott) Pleasant.

Dar is my favorite cousin we are 7 months apart in age.  I recently had reconnected with Dar when I saw him on FB and called him.  From that day he would call me and check up on my father Carrol (Dars uncle) and me the last couple years of my dads life.  He was always saying chin up cuz.  I sent him my Dads photos of the Colorado Haskins last November.  He was so happy to get them.  I am in total shock at losing him so young.  RIP cuz...luv and miss you💖💖💖

One of my greatest memories is when Dar and I took over the band at Sterling, CO. Luckily, Warren Segal was there to keep us from going to jail. 

I stayed in touch in recent months frequently.

We will miss him.

My first introduction to Dar was when he built a garage in our back yard. My dad told me that my summer job was to help Dar… for $3.50/hr. He said,  “You will do anything Dar asks, and do it with a smile.” With Dar’s guidance, I learned  how to work hard and take pride in my work. 
Ten years later he and I wired his home in Sunbeam,CO. This time, Dar was MY apprentice. He said that being an electrician didn’t suit him. I agreed and told him that he should go fix fence until it did suit him.  He was back to work before lunch.
 Many fond memories of working together and dropping/picking up elk at the meat plant. I’ll miss you brother!
