Betty Lou Mueller

She was born October 23, 1944 in Oberlin City, Ohio to Peter and Helen “Mildred” (Cole) Miller. Her parents, one son, Jason Mueller; one grandson, Brodie Mueller and brothers Don Miller and David Miller preceded her in death.

Surviving are her two sons, Jeff (Heidi) Mueller of Texas and Jon (Billie Jo Beard) Mueller of East Peoria; three daughters, Jody Luikart of Ohio and Julie (Dave) Giebelhausen and Justine McCrae, both of East Peoria; fourteen grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Betty had worked at Caterpillar Inc., Walmart, and as a bartender.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo and working jigsaw puzzles.

Betty’s memorial visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. and will be officiated by Pastor John Plunkett. Burial will follow at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
