Carol Lynn Dickson

LEWISTOWN ~ Carol Lynn Dickson, 68, of Lewistown, passed away at 6:17 a.m. Sunday, May 8, 2022 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria. Born November 14, 1953 in Peoria to Charles Delbert and Elsie Lenora (Sutton) Hall, she married Terry E. Dickson on April 4, 1980. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Michelle Dickson of East Peoria; one grandson, Alex Brentrup of East Peoria; two sisters, Brenda Auer of Sunnyland and Cheryl Shaver of Pekin; two brothers, Charlie Hall of East Peoria and Gary Hall of Peoria; one sister-in-law, Marilyn Hall of Creve Coeur and her beloved dog, Rosie. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Howard Hall and one sister, June Hall. Carol was a homemaker of her own home. A loving mother and grandmother, she loved spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. She also loved traveling with her husband to Florida, Tennessee, and Mark Twain Lake. She also enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, boating, and gardening. Her visitation will be from 12 to 2 p.m. Friday May 13, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
