Donna Lynn Allen

Born June 17, 1956 in Anniston, Alabama to Clyde Dean and Ella Mae (Pierce) Connor, she married Roger Lee Allen on April 23, 1977 in East Peoria. He died March 1, 2020 in Creve Coeur. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jerry Connor and Steve Connor.

Surviving are three daughters, Amy (Daniel) Slaybaugh of Macomb, Jeniffer Allen of Pekin and Shana Allen of East Peoria; one step-daughter, Anissa Ritchison of Indiana; three grandchildren, Mason Slaybaugh, Logan Chapai and Brayden Minson; one sister, Sharon Camp of East Peoria and one brother, Randy Connor of Creve Coeur.

A homemaker, Donna enjoyed gardening, going to garage sales, mushroom hunting, decorating and crafting.

She was a longtime member of Creve Coeur Christian Church.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Farmington.
