

Born June 25, 1948 in Peoria to Elliott H. and Rose (Bussell) Wilson, he married Victoria L. Schorr on March 26, 1968 in Creve Coeur.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years; two sons, Mark A. Wilson of Canton and Kevin (April) Wilson of Yates City; five grandchildren, Mark A. Wilson Jr., Caitlin M. Wilson, Cheyenne Wilson, McKenzie Wilson and Morgan Wilson; one great grandson, Elijah Eastman and four brothers, Bruce Autumn, Rex Wilson, Eugene Wilson and Brian Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Terry was a Vietnam veteran of the United States Army where he served as a combat medic.
He retired as a machinist from Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria after 42 years. He was a member of the United Auto Workers Local 974 in East Peoria.
A loving and caring husband, dad, and grandpa, Terry enjoyed tinkering in the garage, fishing in his pond and working on his land in the country. Above all, his greatest love was his grandchildren.
His visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Military rites will be provided following the visitation by the United States Army and Tazewell Military Rites Team. Cremation will accorded following.
