Margaret Anne Schoenman

Born on September 14, 1956, on an Air Force Base in England, a daughter of Ronald and (Else) Barnes. She married Howard Schoenman on November 13, 1976. He survives.

Margaret is also survived by her son; Jason H. (Jessica) Schoenman Sr. of Varna, four grandchildren; Steven Keith, Jason H. Schoenman Jr., Lila Schoenman and Lea Schoenman, two sisters; Linda (Bill) Davis of Washington and Anna (Jeff) Luncsford of Elmwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Ronald Barnes and one daughter; Amy Harr.

Margaret worked as a teacher’s assistant for 30 years in Homewood Heights, East Peoria High School, Parkview Middle School and LaSalle Grade school in Creve Coeur.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 3 pm at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.

Minister Brandon Schoenman will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 pm at the funeral home.
